My child has been with Sylvan Learning in Alexandria for two years and we are very happy with the tutoring assistance he is receiving. Tutoring was initially customized to his unique needs and goals. My son was assigned adequate tutors who work best with his grade level. Alexandria Sylvan Learning franchise director, center director and all staff are respectful, attentive to my son’s academic details, flexible and very fast responsive.
My experience with tutoring at Sylvan has been excellent thus far. We are about 2 months in and my granddaughter goes 2X a week. Her self esteem has improved greatly. She is confident in answering questions in class now and participating more than ever before, even if the answer is not correct it does not deter her. She is making great strides in catching up as she was behind a full grade in math. My children have been attending Math tutoring at Sylvan learning for over a year now. Not only have their grades improved, but I’ve seen their confidence grow, which has been amazing to see. The staff are always friendly and on hand to talk through any queries you may have or schedules changes etc. We also receive regular progress updates via email which I find useful. Overall we have been extremely happy with the level of service they provide and would confidently recommend to anyone seeking extra tutoring.
The personalized learning plan they’ve made for my son has rendered amazing progress at school and at home.
