I'm not one to leave negative reviews (please refer to my 460+ other Google reviews to verify this) but on this occasion I feel it is both justified and necessary. After twice purchasing 3-month packages with SFC at Brookvale (and by the way enjoying the floating experience very much) I approached SFC with a genuine enquiry/complaint about being overcharged once the 2nd 3-month package had expired. So... This is the Sydney floatation centre in Brookvale at the Westfield shopping centre. The photos say it all. Refused a refund. No words..... And no words back from Rob the owner..
If there was zero, I would. This place is a scam, poorly managed, a waste of time and money. I bought my husband a monthly subscription for his birthday. He tried to use it twice: the first time, the person was late to their shift by 15 minutes and the second time, no one was there and it was closed without warning. He went to cancel the subscription, but you can’t do it online which is illegal, tried to call them and would get no answer for consecutive days so they continued to charge him. I think this place needs some tender loving care. My pod was covered in mould, so when I left, I checked a couple of the other pods and found the same issue. It also appears there have been major leaks over the years. However, the plaster and carpets have not been replaced, which has likely to act as a reservoir for mould spores and contributed to mould growth throughout the pods. I like this place, but while I was floating, all I could think was, “Don’t touch the walls.”
