Her attention to detail is extraordinary, each piece she has created for me is a masterpiece and working with her is a joy. Marilena recently made me a set (top and palazzo pants) using 1980s vintage fabric. I love it - it fits perfectly, and Marilena incorporated my specific requests for pockets and an elasticised waist. Marilena was delightful to work with. As others have said, it’s expensive, but it’s great to know there are talented makers like Marilena in the inner west!
I found Marilena on the internet whilst searching for a designer/dressmaker to use some fabric that my Mum had purchased 60 years ago. From the time we met I felt so comfortable with Marilena and knew that I was in expert hands. The process was exciting and enjoyable, the design and final creation was amazing and I feel so special every time I put my dress on. Thank you Marilena, I would recommend you to anyone.
