Staff at Sycamore lodge in Algoma takes advantage of the residents. They continue to take things from my cousin who has psychiatric issues. They pretend to be his friend and then get “awarded”. Doug had even taken Chips electric bed. I had to insist that he bring it back. Meghan is aware of my concerns and chooses not to enforce the rules. Have been here 15 months. Overall my stay has been very satisfactory. The meals are usually tasty and the care is kind. Only complaint is about one of the staff who has been very unkind to me but when I complained to the administrator it did no good. The said staff member lied to the administrator, and I was told by other staff members that the Administrator will always defend that particular staff member without listening to both sides of the complaint.
