My experience with Switzer, Roy & Jones was poor. The generally accepted practices of returning calls or emails, reviewing a return prior to filing, and providing detailed billing were the issues. To truly not receive a returned call or email until I withheld payment is unacceptable. I am thrilled to be working with another firm and for the same fees, I am receiving the usual and customary engagement of a tax accounting firm.
Impossible to communicate! Slow customer service!
I too followed my prior accountant here and had mediocre service last year but this year has been terrible. Totally ghosted via email and phone even when all my paperwork was submitted in February. I am so upset.
Our previous CPA retired and merged their company with this one, now we are left with horrible/lack of communication—we had to go into the office to actually speak to someone after several promises to return our calls leading up to when taxes are due (and they’ve had our paperwork since February). Beware they are filing extensions for a lot of their clients on tax day. We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on. Update: they did not file for an extension and we were forced to pay late fees. They “sent a letter” to ... read more
