My 5 year old has ADHD and autism, and learning to swim has been a journey. We started at SwimLabs this winter, and it has been such a wonderful experience. The swim school is very inclusive of children with special needs, and my son has been working with an AMAZING swim instructor, Ms. Kim, who has taught him how to do back floats and work on blowing bubbles in the water and correct form when kicking. Thanks so much to the fantastic team at SwimLabs for making such a welcoming environment for all kids!
Great place for the little one to learn how to swim
We were referred to this swimming lesson program by a parent and initially had a positive experience, but three months later, the class size exceeded the instructor's capacity, putting my six-year-old son at risk of drowning, as the instructor seemed uncertain of how to respond. It was extremely distressing to witness my child in such a vulnerable situation and feel powerless to intervene.
