I started to participate in 5K runs this year and had pain in my left hip and thigh area for a few months. While I was able to run, the pain never went away. At one of the runs I was attending, I saw a SWELL tent and met Dr. Anthony. He was very kind and helpful to me, so I decided to make an appointment. He took time to listen to my concerns and after his evaluation, told me that my left leg was very weak and overworked. I began working with Dr. Anthony in August of 2025. At the time, I was struggling with my running form, and improving my pace. I could barely run a 5k, even though I had been consistently running for at least a year or more. During my initial evaluation, Dr. Anthony found that my balance, mobility, and single leg strength were not where they should be.
