Professional, approachable, hardworking, intelligent and kind team at Swearingen Elder Law. I didn't have a clue on what I needed for my dad. Being a former employee as of 2023 I believe that Gerret is an awesome caring attorney along with his wonderful paralegal Cindy Stiles. They both work hard and long for their clients, I have a family friend that Gerret went out of his way to help get medicaid for before he passed on. I truly would hire this firm if myself and any family member needed medicaid.

BEWARE!!!! Gerret offers a "flat fee of $10,000.00" to do Medicaid for you, but will make YOU do all the work, send you an email and say he HAS to have things by end of that day, then get upset if you don't get it to him (because you're at work) Gerret will go DAYS without response, then out of the blue, send you a bill for several thousand dollars more. If you ask to see the hours billed and what was done, he will REFUSE to respond then say you no longer have a bill, only to find out, he dropped you without notice or reason... read more
