SwanCare’s new 124 room aged care facility incorporates extensive research in dementia-specific residential aged care design. The design concept imitates the familiar concepts in the outside world, offering the analogy of a home, street, neighbourhood, village and town. Clusters of eight to ten rooms share dining, living and kitchenette areas and a protected winter garden allowing access to the outdoors and taking a whole-of-building approach to dementia care.

Once again Claire comes to my rescue! I was in a muddle trying to fill in 5 forms for the nurses on my ancient iPad and having great difficulty. I just mentioned it to Clair as I was signing in to see my wife and her immediate response was “Email them to me and I’ll print them off for you.” I hated doing it because she is so busy helping other visitors in between doing all the computer work she has to do, but I was busy too, needing to buy some clothes for my wife. I cannot speak highly enough of Ningana and its exemplary staff. From Claire in the front office to the carers, nurses and doctors a sincere thank you for the support provided to my mother. The meals are high quality and the atmosphere is cheerful. We feel very blessed to have found this safe haven from Mum. The administrators- Leanne, Kim and Sarah have made the transition as seamless as possible. Thank you all.
