After having visited a good old friend of mine for the last three days at Swan Hill House I would like to express my thanks to all the members of staff and the manager for doing such a good job. I felt my friend is in very good hands and cared for in a very individual way. Coming a long way to visit my friend the staff made everything possible to ensure that we had a really nice time together. My mother-in-law has been a resident at Swan Hill for over a year, and the care she receives is outstanding. As a family, we visit her regularly and always find the staff to be professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. The support and attention given to residents create a warm and welcoming environment. My mother has lived at Swan Hill Residential Home since 2019. I am rating the home with 5 stars as the current care team running the home are excellent. The home is well staffed, residents are appropriately cared for and it’s in a brilliant location with a garden. I would thoroughly recommend.
I would not normally comment on others opinions but that formed. by Ms Towlers on her brief experience is so totally at variance with my own as to be unrecognisable, except that factually she is right that there are now plastic tablecloths. These are meticulously cleaned after every meal and make it easier for those with any slight physical difficulty to eat sociably with everybody else, despite the greater staff cost of tactful support.The home has many excellent features with excellent leadership of caring staff.
Can’t recommend this home enough. My mum has been in another care home prior to here and this home is out standing the care that my mum gets is amazing. Always welcoming and always got the tea pot on the go to enjoy a drink with my mum ❤️
