My husband and I visited Suzanne's studio in May of this year. Our time with her was really wonderful. She was so eloquent in explaining her years of dedication to her particular art form which she explained as contemplative. Visiting her art studio was a truly calming and inspiring experience. The space itself feels like a quiet sanctuary, perfectly mirroring the contemplative nature of her work. Her paintings invite reflection with gentle compositions. I have taken classes from Suzanne off and on for many years, and just love her encouraging teaching style! She really knows how to bring out each person's unique creativity. I also really love her art, and if you can't afford a painting, she makes a lovely calendar every year.

I took art classes from Suzanne for three wonderful years. She is an incredible teacher and person. I’m grateful for the many lessons she taught me about art, perspective, and creativity. I still hear her thoughtful comments in my head when I appreciate art or engage in creative endeavors. I highly recommend her as an skilled and supportive art teacher.

Which is a weird tactic when you’re trying to sell art to people (and your art is significantly overpriced). In a world of so many local artists to support, steer clear of thi... read more
