Your claim that your firm was “forced” to file a lien is incorrect. The lien was a discretionary action that generated legal fees, not a legal necessity. I was in compliance with the cited requirement two days before the lien was filed, a fact your firm knew or should have known. I recently made a significant investment of nearly seven figures into NuVolt, a company owned by Shane and Stacy Weatherby in Cobourg, Ontario.
