Susie makes beautiful cakes but she is unresponsive because of her busy schedule which will spike the stress level of any bride during the last month before her wedding. She also wanted ME to prepare and provide the ribbon for the cake...I’ve never heard of such a thing! Only because she is the Houstonian’s preferred baker doesn’t entitle her to be difficult to work with. The Houstonian was very apologetic for her attitude and more than made it up to us. Great Cakes - Shady Character – Ok, Susie DOES have awesome cakes. My problem with her is not the cakes, it is the way business is run. My cake was part of a package with the Houstonian. I decided to rent a horse and carriage and to order a grooms cake with her. Keep in mind, the grooms cake was a simple cake (no fondant or exquisite fillings) with my husbands team logo on it.
