Knitting This is a very tiny place but they have a wonderful selection of yarns to choose from. They also have a variety of knitting classes that you can take in which are very helpful. The prices are good and the staff is very helpful if you are in need. There area usually a lot of people in the store who you can share your hobby with also.
have needles, will travel Wish that I lived closer so I could shop there more often. It's really a nice place. Big selection of yarns. Classes with lots of individual attention.
Wonderful craft store This is my favorite needlework shop to date. Susans Yarns has hundreds of different colors of yarn and different tools and books to get you started with knitting. They have classes to teach you how to knit, or help you out with a current project. I knitted scarfs this winter as stocking stuffers for family and friends, using all my yarn from Susans Yarn. They turned out great, and everyone loved them!! This is truly the best place to go to pursue a knitting hobby.
A knitters playground This tiny hole in the wall is actually a wonderland of yarns of all types. The shop has been around since long before the recent resurgence of knitting as a hobby, and it shows in the staffs expertise. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is generous with tips on yarn selection and knitting technique. Knitting classes are available and theres a fun Open Knit night where knitters gather to knit and learn from one another.
