I had a very disappointing experience at Surplus Direct. I purchased a computer chair from the store and was sold as brand new. Few days later I noticed what seemed like a small crack on the back support. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be an actual break, not just a surface flaw. I returned to the store to address the issue, expecting a reasonable solution. Instead, the owner immediately blamed me for the damage and refused to offer a refund or even an exchange. Don’t buy opened boxed food items. These are returns from Costco. I bought a box of protein bar. I asked if it’s missing any bars inside the cashier said no but when I opened this box, it’s missing 4 bars. There’s only 10 bars and cost more than Costco might as well wait for Costco to have it on sale and buy it without missing any bars inside. If it wasn’t a return item then why would they opened each box to count how many are left to repackage them with a new lower price? The staff denied any items were returned from Costco... read more
