I had an excellent experience at Surmesur, and a huge part of that was thanks to Toddrick. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and helpful throughout the entire suit fitting process. This was my first visit to this Ottawa shop, and it was the first suit I've ordered for my son's wedding. The experience was wonderful, especially with Toddrick Metzger. He's a fantastic person with a great presence and a warm welcome that put me at ease. Most importantly, his expertise and precision were impeccable. I was disappointed with my experience. The purple stitching on my custom shirt bled into the white fabric. The staff were friendly and professional, so I have no complaints about the customer service itself. Unfortunately, after the shirt was sent to quality assurance, I was told the thread was not considered defective and no compensation could be offered. Toddrick was excellent to work with. I had spoken to several different custom suit shops for my wedding suit throughout the city and never quite left feeling like they understood the vision. My last visit was at Surmesur and in 1 hour we fully designed the suit I envisioned and had the fitting completed. Within 4 weeks I had my suit and it was a perfect fit, no adjustments needed. I’ll be recommending friends and family to Toddrick for sure!
