Fraud company!! I had to rent a CPM from this company after my surgery. Surgicare tried everything to get the money from the patient instead of helping to get it covered by insurance. After sending multiple emails to them and providing all the doctor's prescription they ignored everything and kept sending the bills to me directly. Would strictly advise everyone to avoid this company and look for an alternative. All the customer care is outsourced and they don't actually care about solving your problems.
Had to pay $140 for a $15 amazon item. Called to question this and the woman got very defensive.
I’m disappointed at the fact I have to give as high as one star. I was told my arm sling was covered by my insurance just to get a huge bill from this place considering I was given a shitty $20 sling from Amazon, just to see they ran an insurance company I never heard of. Then they put my real insurance and it was still $60 even after I was told there shouldn’t be a bill. They up charge basic things to fuel a useless company which is only purpose is to raise the medium cost of medical supplies. Truly terrible experience
DO NOT TAKE ANY DEVICES FROM SURGI-CARE. Go on amazon (or frankly anywhere else) and get the item for 80% less. I share similar experiences to many here. Surgi-care was available on the first floor within the Foxboro Health Center (MGH), and I was sent down by my ortho to get a walking boot to treat an injury. A price list was not available, nor could they tell me what the boot would cost, but was told they would send a bill to insurance and I will need to pay for whatever wasn't covered.
