They are charging $200 for a boot I could get directly from the company that sells them for $89. The up charge is incredible. They refuse to answer questions on pricing for their products (not a personal question about the person on the account) or to forward me to a supervisor because I won’t give them personal information that as far as I know they shouldn’t have. I was very disappointed in my experience with this company. I rented a machine at the recommendation of my surgeon. I paid the requested amount upfront and followed the installation technician’s instructions on which day the billing begins and which day I should call in to stop the billing. I called on the day I was told to call in to stop the billing and the representative on the phone said I was paid in full. I requested an email receipt but never got one. My advice, never order/receive anything through this company. Unfortunately, hospitals will just give out splints/boots, etc without knowing that the company (surgicare) will demand payment thru a collection company after never sending out a single bill. Very sketchy practices. My advice: ask the doctor or hospital to print out picture of item you need so you can order on your own. Much cheaper & no hassle
