Ignorant drivers
They are charging $200 for a boot I could get directly from the company that sells them for $89. The up charge is incredible. They refuse to answer questions on pricing for their products (not a personal question about the person on the account) or to forward me to a supervisor because I won’t give them personal information that as far as I know they shouldn’t have. My advice, never order/receive anything through this company. Unfortunately, hospitals will just give out splints/boots, etc without knowing that the company (surgicare) will demand payment thru a collection company after never sending out a single bill. Very sketchy practices. My advice: ask the doctor or hospital to print out picture of item you need so you can order on your own. Much cheaper & no hassle
This place needs to be investigated by the AG of Mass. I have no idea how they were awarded contracts. They badgered me every day for 27$ threatening to send collectors, refusing to deal with insurance or my lawyer. I paid, requested a receipt so i could add it to my settlement and nothing. Ive requested it six or seven times…the irony. I will be submitting something to have this company looked at.
Michael Manghan was absolutely incredible and changed his schedule to accommodate my needs when I was being fitted for an elbow brace. He actually change his schedule several times to meet my needs. Michael was extremely personable, professional and knowledgeable and I can not say enough about how he helped alleviate my fears as well as making sure that the brace fit perfectly. Surgi-Care is very lucky to have Michael on their team. Also, Michael's boss, Brian was outstanding!!
