What can I say.. Richard has spectacular customer service. Warm, friendly, knowledgeable with that true Aussie hospitality and humour. The cars we booked were great on space and petrol and we got a good deal directly through their website. Will definitely be booking with Surfers Rent A Car again. We're already planning another trip to the Gold Coast!

Great locally run rental car agency. Do yourself a favour and book with Richard and the team here if you’re travelling to Gold Coast. They’re much better value than other car rental companies and don’t try to sneak in lots of extra fees for things like excess. Car seats for kids was especially affordable. Short shuttle bus to the depot and they communicate really well on pickup and drop offs.

We had a last minute booking yet the price was very competitive. Pick-up and return was easy and convenient. Richard was amazing and very professional. Highly recommended. Will definitely book with them again in the future.

Smooth drop off at the airport on the 8am shuttle. Richard was lovely and you can tell from chatting with him that he really cares about the customers. Prices for a rental were so reasonable compared to the big companies and the car was in beautiful condition. We were travelling with two young kids and it was stress free. I’m a stickler for car seat installation and the seats were installed correctly and in great condition. We will definitely be using Surfers rent a car next time.
