Small town store. Lots packed into a small space but have everything you need. Meat is always fresh. Staff are very friendly.
SuperValu Agassiz is a small-town grocery store that punches above its weight. I liked how it’s locally owned and has a community vibe — staff are friendly and often greet regulars by name. The produce is usually fresh, and the meat and bakery sections have some solid deals if you catch them at the right time. The prices of items are on par for the location and what it is. The people comparing this store to Costco are out of touch with reality. They have a good selection of items, specialty items I haven’t seen in other stores, and fresh bread and produce. I’d like to give a shout out to the young lady who was working the till today that helped my son clean himself up after his ice cream cone broke. Keep up the good work!
I just left this store stunned. I had a few items in my cart that were promptly put back when I discovered they were asking 8.49 for a bag of mixed salad. It is the same product you get for a 2-pk at costco for $8. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Our beautiful little grocer down the road is selling the exact same product for $3.99. When are you going to stop using the excuse that you need to charge more because we are further out!?
