Cashiers as a whole are not that pleasant, the store often smells bad, the store has all the supplies we need, hard to find product sometimes, store prices are about the same as other stores.
The young man that works in the customer service desk in the evening at your North Andover location is a disgrace to your good name! The great customer service & friendly employees are why I choose to shop at Stop & Shop rather than one of the less expensive grocery stores in the area, but this man is going to make a lot of your customers rethink that decision. Terrible. Woman in the express lane has 50 items...an employee is bagging for her. Call to talk to the "manager," who tells me that the signs and lanes don't really mean anything. People are in a hurry and will assume that the mesaaging campaign at the check outa ctually means something. Incompetence, lackadaisical,no leadership, no supervision. Disappointing.
I've been going to this stop n shop every morning for the past two weeks at 9 AM, because i work close by and I would love to get a parfait for breakfast but every morning they don't have them. and when i politely ask somebody that works there about it they "haven't had time to make it" ... for the past two weeks. honestly if you're not going to have the parfaits made by 9AM (which most people have for breakfast) than don't bother making them at all. from now on ill go to shaws.
I was in there today, and could not find what i was looking for, so i approached an employee and asked where i could find what i was looking for. The very polite and helpful employee directed me to the aisle and kindly asked if there was anything else she could help me find. Wonderful experience will be shopping there more often!!
Came in for 3 things and an hour later left with nothing! Started my trip with the self scan device to speed up my trip. Found what I needed and went to check out. All but one self-checkout was closed, and all lines were long. I chose the shortest line and began to wait... and wait... and wait... The cashier moved at a snail's pace. Then the register had an issue on the order before mine, so the cashier was moving to the next isle over. So I went there... Great market, good staff . Unfortunately cannot say same for deli . Dept is lagging in friendly customer service . Prices are a bit high. But you can find basically all except tropical vegetables . All in all good but lets get motivated.
Easy convenient place to shop for groceries. I just wish their prices were a little lower (Like Market Masket).
