Very friendly and helpful staff, room was very spacious and clean and the bed huge and really comfortable. We were able to bring our dog which was a big plus! Great location for visiting Durham and surrounding countryside.

After a long drive from Bristol, it was great to be welcomed by Michael, smiling and ensuring I was checked in efficiently and offered food options for me. Room was basic but to be expected, don't need bells and whistles when you're staying by the side of the road away for work. Just comfort and cleanliness, both of which were present and accounted for.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, all the essentials in the room, TV, hot drinks, comfy bed. Have a meal in the hotel, think its only microwaved, but still very nice. And breakfast was toast, pastries and cereals only. Only downside was the walls are a bit thin and i could hear a radio in the next room and snoring late at night so take some ear plugs. All being said I will definately go back.
