Kaufman doesnt care about the customer All they want is your $Please dont waste your money
I own 2 Kaufman Trailers and the oldest one which is a 2022, I ordered some bearings, races and seals from the company, I gave the parts guy the VIN number, he told me the amount and I agreed, I got the parts and they were thrown in a box between bubble wrap, they were not individually wrapped, both of the races where rusted, he also charged me 25.00 in shipping to the same state ups, he could have charged me 5.00 for usps the way they were packaged, we are looking for a 3rd trailer, but it won't be a Kaufman Brand. The staff at Sunwest Pensions are terrible to work with. They never provide clear instructions or any assistance when requested. They charge a ton of money to serve as a third part administrator for my retirement account and they provide zero customer service.
Not a good place for business they lie a lot if your buying a trailer go to ***** *****,any way I put a down payment for a trailer 7 months ago my bank ending paying the fee for me i cancel the trailer order asking for a refund said they mail out a check then they said they pay the bank look at the account no payment the money 1500$ still not issue they sold the trailer 2 months now and don't want to give me back the 1500$ and saying they give the bank back when the bank put the payment on me calling me every week her name p... read more

This customer gave us a check that came back NSF. NSF means non sufficient funds which means his check never cleared. He continues to call 7 months later asking for a refund when there is NO money to refund! He continues to try to scam us for money that he never gave us. He is listed on our do not sell list and have to continually block him from our phone system. Customer is bad news, if you do business with him don’t accept any checks.

I have owned 4 Kaufman trailers with zero issues. Are they the best? No, but they are reasonably priced and do the job.
Purchased 2 Deluxe Deck-Over Tag-a-long / 7k axles/22' item #FP-7K-22D 2018 Model P-DLX GVWR on 5/18/2018. Both trailers appear to be rusting in the same exacts spots. According to Kaufman upon discussing this issue with them we were told that truck towing can cause stress. These trailers are supposed to be able to pull 14K lbs and we have never pulled more than 6K lbs at most. Kaufman was completely unwilling to help us. Bought a two car hauler new to this business is picked up my new trailer in Nebraska factory. I paid for trailer and when I started reading the warrantyear I stated so looks like no warranty since would have to return to them being 100 miles away. The first issues are that the total wiring is the lightest made and they made too short. Pl u still they left scrap in frame cut wire off showed out everything.
