I work 12 hour shifts form 7am to 7pm the banks are closed when I get off work. I was stuck in a bad position to where I needed to pull out 1500 out of my account at one time at an atm. I called the 1-800 for the bank had to notify them of the withdrawal amount, they refused me access to my funds, because they said they couldn't verify who I was. Rushed to the Downtown location (4:45pm) for a cash withdrawal from my personal checking account but was told there was not enough “cash on-hand to cover the amount I was requesting”, and that it would not be till Thursday (4 business days) before they could cover it. Was told to try another branch @ 4:50pm. Thanks Suntrust. Clearly my money is “trusted”.
Don't ever do business with this bank. The people may be nice, but the bank policies are to suck as much profit out of their customers without giving them value. At least that is my experience. On several occasions they have manipulated me for their benefit. Again, stay away from them.
Sun Trust Bank in SC has closed as of now 5 businesses that sell guns and ammo, using the excuse that the businesses are risky. This is tyranny. If you have an account with Sun Trust you may want to reconsider.
A South Carolina pawn shop owner who sells guns, guitars and an array of other items says that his bank forced him to close his accounts, and he thinks it is because of the weapons.
