I wanted to wait until my daughter had went here for a solid year before giving a review. Like any company they took a bit to figure out staffing in a area they did not originate from. Their director Ms. Mary is amazing and I truly feel like they are under excellent leadership. Without a company like Sunshine House that provides safe childcare year around for working parents I am not sure what our family would do. Our child was expelled from Sunshine House in Lenoir largely due to a billing issue and a policy that was never clearly explained nor communicated. The regional director was of no assistance, despite us having documented texts that the policy was never communicated and that the billing issue was on their end.

I accidentally left a 3 stars. I am interested in bringing my daughter here for pre k. I guess when i was looking into Sunshine Academy I somehow did this. I haven't reached out to speak with anyone yet. So I really can't say anything about Sunshine Academy at this point. I am changing it to a 5 star because I recieved a reply asking what went wrong and how they could make it right. To me, that matters. It shows that if a mistake is made on their end, they want the opportunity to fix it.

We absolutely LOVE Sunshine House! Both of our kids attend although in different capacities. Our youngest attends year round in the preschool program and our rising first grader attends the Summer program (which includes so much learning and field trips). Our boys are constantly learning, playing, Stemming, engaged, being creative and all while being loved on by the wonderful staff!
