My child attended Sunshine House at this location for about two or three days when the hurricane Helene hit because the other Sunshine House on Summerwood was off because they had no power. My wife dropped off my son at this daycare early in the morning the people in this daycare have never met me or never even seen me so later in the day I had my ID in my pocket to go pick up my son. Please be careful sending your kids and babies here, mine came home with bruises 3 days in a row , he cries everytime we pick him up and he’s never done that he’s scared, there was a bruise on his lower back & also on his arm, we asked a numerous amount of times as to why this keeps happening we ask for camera footage, they’ve deleted it or can’t “go back far enough” to show what has happen these staff are rude & unprofessional and will abuse your kids & hide it. I love this place! My daughter started when she was six weeks old and she’s now five months. The last few months have been great. She smiles when she walks into the building and the teachers are so nice to her. They greet me in the mornings and have always communicated clearly if things come up or something happen that requires a delay or change in the normal daily process. I would definitely recommend SSH to any parent in the area.
My kids went to Sunshine house back in the ‘90’s and my grandson went there just a few years ago. And, now my granddaughter will soon start at Sunshine House. The teachers and caregivers are very friendly and professional people.
