I delivered a waterslide from JUMPCSRA for the kids at Sunshine house today. I must say, I was very impressed with their staff and seeing how excited the kids were that the daycare went above and beyond to give them a special event.
My daughter has been going to the Sunshine House for almost 7 months and she LOVES it! She loves her teachers and she’s excited to go to daycare. Once I go back to work next month my son will be starting there too, and I feel so confident knowing that my kids will be safe, cared for, and enriched while I’m working.
Nothing against the daycare staff because I know it’s out of their hands, it’s the higher ups! The Sunshine house is not disability friendly for children with special needs! The ADA requires that child care providers not discriminate against persons with disabilities on the basis of disability!!! I have three girls and one was not accepted due to having an IEP which basically states she’s non verbal, nothing else.
