Suggestion: perhaps if you want people to use your app, have some of the free item for $10 near the checkout. Make sure your Cashiers know what the free item is. After a person uses the app and you qualify for the free item, the cashier could ask would you like the free item not do you really want it. I like to shop local but when you have a cashier that seems inconvenient that is not encouraging.

The POS (point of sale) terminal is the one unfortunate part of shopping. It's very small, requires two button steps and a signature to conclude the task. The buttons are small and colored so if you're color-blind or handicapped, or EVEN don't have adequate glasses you'll have the frustrating trauma I experienced last Saturday.
