I’ve bought from this shop a few times. Linda doesn’t have a huge range of opals but she is a genuine, hardworking soul that has a wealth of knowledge and yes…she is an eccentric, odd kind of character but her heart is good. I’ve been reading all the negative comments but all I can say is at the end of the day it’s the opal that’s important…don’t let the difference or oddness of someone stand in the way of getting a really nice opal…especially when she is so reasonably priced. I visited the shop before I read all the negative comments and had an awesome experience I bought two absolutely beautiful rings and had a nice chat with the shop owner (if I remember correctly Linda). Yes she is not like a typical person working in a shop whose main purpose is to sell you the product, so they are smiling and overly polite. However, you can feel the passion and the honesty, which gives the shop that vibe that you can never get in a big city, and I absolutely loved it!

Went to this store today (a group of 7 of us) not all of us even made it in the store before the lady starting spitting abuse at the 12 year old boy within our group who had his phone in his hand facing the ground in his own business, having a go at his parents about how he won’t grow and the poison of mobile phones. I understand the not wanting photos taken but place a sign, your in the wrong age if you’re not going to respect people’s individual wishes to use a phone. Worst customer service I have ever come across. Abused me because I had my phone in my hand, I was waiting for a reply from my daughter (we are from NQLD) & the phone beeped, what came out of her mouth !!! The four of us just left.
