This was worst move could of ever made for my mom. Within short time of being there they lost her glasses and hearing aides. Her teeth were never cleaned. There is much more could be said about her being cleaned but, wouldn't matter now. She went from sprinting halls to comatose in months of them drugging her because they didn't want to deal with her dementia. The rooms were not cleaned good. My mom was a resident at Sunrise Nursing Home from December 2024 to July 2025. She received excellent care. The nursing home itself is an older facility and a bit dated. The rooms are small. But it was evident that the staff cares about the residents there. They would often stop in just to say hi to her and to give her a hug, even if they weren't assigned to her that day. The nursing home itself did not have that "nursing home smell" that many facilities we had been to had. I am grateful for the care and attention she receiv... read more
