We LOVE Sunset lake! I was lucky enough to attend every summer as a child myself, & was so excited to send my oldest as soon as she turned 8- she is now 17 and this is her last year, she loves it so much she is considering working there so she can still keep coming. My youngest has been going for 4 years too, both of the girls have invited friends, who make this their summer routine also. My daughter loves this camp! The staff is so helpful and caring!
This place is welcoming and inviting to all. The only Christian things they do (according to my child) is pray twice a day, once before lunch and once before leaving. He is attending day camp. He is a hard kiddo to please, and was unsure about a Christian camp but he says this has been the best week of his life and the best camp he has ever attended. Swimming, horses, archery, boats, a zip line, good food, and very nice people were his highlights.
