I have deleted my old review as of 4/19/25 because they have resolved my issue. I had previously and in to fix my bike and I thought it would be a great shop and and they charged me a lot and did not really did the issue and that technician was super rude to me but not the actual owner of the shop noticed this technician being rude to me and my problem and was quick to help! This is the best bike shop within 30 miles. Sunset Cyclery offers personalized, expert customer service and attention to detail that is second to none. Fair prices + ultra-fast service = ridiculously good value. Don't bother with any other bike shop.
Sunset's repair service is outstanding! I was pretty sure my 25+ year old 18-spd. bike would cost more to repair the extensive gearing & shifter problems than it was worth. But they repaired it in great working order for under the cost limit I set and am so pleased with how it turned out. There service is very knowledgeable, thorough, and reasonably priced. They also give you a detailed estimate before starting the work.
