If you want reliability and efficiency in your bus service then seek elsewhere. Sunrise is the bottom of the barrel in transportation in Chicago. Sunrise consistently has given me problems over the years. My youngest is disabled and accordance to her IEP, the bus service is required to pick her up at home. I would NOT recommend this company to my friends, to anyone. I am a Resident Service Coordinator in the building for seniors. My colleague and me, we ordered two buses to go to Ravinia on July 29, 2012. We paid for the trips, got a confirmation on July 27, 2012. Guess what happened... At 3 pm the buses did not show up in two(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) locations. 36 seniors DID NOT ENJOY THE CONCERT IN RAVINIA. This company does not deserve even one star.

I was behind a Sunrise bus this morning and was pleased to see how safely the driver drove. I'd trust my child to be driven by this person. The driver followed the speed limit, came to a complete stop at the rail road track and stopped for whatever time was required. The driver then safely and slowly turned the corner on the way to the school for disabled. Sunrise bus company as horrible and sunrise need better employers with better attitudes and the drivers need better experience I have been riding Sunrise bus for 4 years and the service gets worse as the years go on. I would never recommend this bus to anyone. I feel as though Sunrise just hires people from off the streets. The drivers never even really get there on time. Sunrise tells you that you can request a driver but they really wont let you. It is a waste of money and I would let everyone one know that you have better... read more
