My father passed away early in the morning at Sunrise. The staff at Sunrise immediately contacted Highland Hills Funeral Home and did everything they could to support me. Unfortunately, Highland Hills failed us in every possible way. It took 15 hours for them to pick up my father’s body. During that time, there was zero communication unless we chased them. My mother was discharged from Scarborough General Hospital to Sunrise for the short stay support rehab. The staffs were great, friendly and very patient with my mother. The environment is very clean and beautiful for the senior to relax and recover. The location very convenience to get there to visit. Highly recommend this place for the senior if they need a place to recover or short term stay
