A nice place but they need more caregivers and more dining room staff. Good things- you can make a lot of good friends. And lots of activities. No sitting idle here. Lots of outings too. Computer museum, Stanford theater, the performing arts center in San Mateo. Movies in the theater every night. Activities all day long. Exercise class daily A friendly place.
My siblings and I moved our mom into Oakmont Redwood City last December and we couldn’t be happier with the care and service she has received. The staff are incredibly compassionate and truly seem to care about the well-being of the residents. She enjoys the wide variety of activities available, like bingo, movie nights, and exercise classes. Very good team caregiver
I have been working with this community for the past year representing an onsite primary care practice. Our patients have always been well cared for and the staff has been attentive to our requests and orders for care. I really think it’s worth exploring this community if you are looking for a place for your loved one. Update - just wanted to reiterate my feelings for this community. It’s been nine months and my sentiment is the same as it was. Definitely stop by for a tour!
There are friendly accommodating staff, plenty of events and activities for the residents. A menu with choice and a variety of delicious foods with a chef who can make accommodations for residents nutrition needs.
