The staff at Cogir, Old Town Alexandria is the best! Especially our main contact there, Nancy Garcia. I was tasked with finding assisted living for my brother — but I’m located on the other side of the country. So my initial interviews had to be done by phone, rather than the convenience of being in-person. But Nancy’s expertise and genuine caring bridged that distance, no problem! Customer service on 07/23 evening - was transferred to a nurse and no response. Called front desk back 4-5 times after and no answer. Unable to be put in contact with my unresponsive mother. At least should have a better system in place or offer an alternative if transfer does not go through - people pay money and situations can be intense due to the reasons loved ones are in there.
