Sunrise of Newton is an amazing choice for someone in your life who may need assisted living. I visited the facility, I've seen others as well, and was blown away by both the kindness of the people I met but also the warm feeling of the community as well. I have worked for Sunrise of Newton for a little over a year now, and I LOVE it!!! The new team is great we have alot of positive energy and the residents seem to be very happy with the new team put into place!!!!
I recently joined working with the team at Sunrise and I can honestly say it has been one of the best jobs I've had. The staff and residents at the community are wonderful and make each day a positive experience!
Our mother lived at Sunrise of Newton for about three months starting in March 2024 before having to find another place to live. The building is very nice, as is the garden in the back, which is why I gave two stars instead of one (that and a few of the staff who made an effort and held a few nice activities). But none of the services lived up to the promises that were made when I toured the facility, desperate to find a nice place for our mother, who is a two-person assist in a wheelchair. I recently had the unfortunate experience of working at Sunrise of Newton, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts on the poor management and the detrimental impact of Supervisor Finette on the employees. The management at Sunrise of Newton leaves much to be desired. Communication is inconsistent, and there is a noticeable lack of organization.
