This is a wonderful facility with an exceptional staff. The place is immaculately clean and the residents are treated with respect and dignity. The afternoon Thanksgiving brunch was terrific.
The Sunrise facility has been a true blessing for our family. The staff is not only professional, but also incredibly kind and compassionate. From the moment, my mother-in-law moved in, we felt welcomed and supported. The community is clean and well maintained, and there are always engaged group activities available for the residence. My wife Margo was admitted to reminiscence care April 2024 after a five year battle with Alzheimer’s. Her dementia worsened quickly despite the best efforts of the team, which was extremely caring and responsive. After a month she required medication management for several weeks in a hospital geriatric psych unit. I visited often, never providing any notice that I was coming. Team was warm and welcoming and the care was very professional and well trained. You do feel like it is a family run operation which I believe takes significant management skill. Certainly the fact that the facility is new, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly maintained is a big plus. We feel very fortunate Sunrise of Mountain Lakes was available for our Mom.
