My sister was a resident of Sunrise of McLean for a year and a half before moving to Georgia to be closer to me. She was always treated with respect and kindness by the staff. The facility is very beautiful and well maintained. I would recommend Sunrise to anyone looking for a safe and caring place for their loved one. A+

Due to limited mobility and non-weight-bearing restrictions following a knee replacement and a broken bone in my other leg, I chose the respite care option at this Sunrise location, which requires a minimum 30-day stay. (with the option to extend if needed) I stayed in an efficiency unit that came furnished along with a refrigerator, TV, and a very nice, safe bathroom that included grab bars and plenty of space to get in and out with a wheelchair. First and foremost, the staff are very kind and caring. When my mom moved in, the staff went out of their way to be welcoming to her and us. They worked with us under a tight timeline to get her moved in and accomodate her needs. They even temporarily loaned her a couple of pieces of furniture until she could provide her own. I recently toured Sunrise assisted living facility and was truly impressed. The entire community was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The staff were not only polite but also incredibly considerate and attentive, showing genuine care for the residents. This is definitely a place I would feel confident recommending to a loved one or to our clients from Virginia Home Care services. It’s clear that the well-being of the residents is a top priority here.
