I recently toured Sunrise assisted living facility and was truly impressed. The entire community was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The staff were not only polite but also incredibly considerate and attentive, showing genuine care for the residents. This is definitely a place I would feel confident recommending to a loved one or to our clients from Virginia Home Care services. It’s clear that the well-being of the residents is a top priority here.

My father entered memory care at this Sunrise location in June 2024 and passed away in January 2025 after suffering from dementia. I'm so thankful that there was an opening available and that the entire facility staff treated my father like their own family member. They are too many people to thank for helping my father feel secure and comfortable while he adjusted to his new home. I met with Julie the executive director at Sunrise earlier this week and I have to say the community is wonderful. There are a ton of community spaces for the residents and families to gather, and the new renovation makes the place truly look and feel like a luxury building. I had the pleasure of speaking to a few of the residents as well and they all had so many nice things to say about living there as well as the staff. My father spent about 2 weeks in hospice care on the memory care floor at Sunrise of McLean in late 2022 before he passed peacefully in his sleep. The staff were amazing. They were so incredibly gentle and took great care of him. They were also extremely kind to me while I was losing my father. The facility was meticulously clean and well kept.
