I'm an entertainer who works in assisted living and memory care facilities throughout the Washington, D.C. region. Caring and consistent service to residents. From the Director to Concierge to med staff and food service, they genuinely want to make people feel safe and at home. Julie is especially helpful in advising both family and residents.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Sunrise of McLean and was truly blown away by how warm and welcoming the community felt from the moment I walked in. Matthew Veleber, the Director of Sales, provided a wonderful tour and took the time to thoughtfully walk me through everything the community offers. The recent renovations are absolutely gorgeous, and the community genuinely feels like home. What stood out to me most, though, is how tenured and dedicated the team is. I can say with certainty that my loved one received the best possible care during her time at Sunrise of McLean (Nov 2024 – Jan 2026). My experience was stellar across the board. The team provided a high level of care through various phases, which made "aging in place" a reality for us - something that was incredibly important. I think the executive director Julie Clouse did an excellent job. I used to come to Sunrise of McLean to do sing along at memory care 3 years ago. I felt something was off. Now, I can see the difference. This location has become alive. Happy staff, contented residents. Up lifting vibes. Good job Julia. I’ll give you two thumbs up. You are indispensable. So proud of you.
