Perhaps I am not unbiased - (I am a service tech from out of town) - but I always look forward to visiting this site. The staff are enthusiastic, happy, welcoming and eager to help - which directly translates to how they treat the residents in this community.
Sunrise Killarney is a beautiful building. I was particularly struck by our visit to the Memory Care floor. Dementia is a terrible affliction but the activity room was full of busy people who looked happy. Many of them were sitting around a big table doing various things while others were walking around and I think were enjoying the buzz. I'd feel perfectly comfortable recommending Sunrise Killarney to anyone with a loved one suffering from a cognitive decline.
Care aids & nurses are very nice to the residents and they do their jobs well. Admin does try to go the extra mile to help out. Kudos to you, Team Sunrise Killarney! I want to thank all of you for the stay that my parent had here. Thanks for everything!
I have been on 2 tours to the Killarney Sunrise. I am impressed with the Reminisce (memory care) floors. Staff are qualified in validation methods. It is very accessible and sensory stimulation art is wonderful. Resident focused activities.
Sunrise of Killarney has been the best place for our parents to live out their golden years. We did much research into all the long term and memory care options in Vancouver/Lower Mainland region for our parents for their ideal location, services, price and especially Asian food options.
