Poor communication with family. Do not return calls. Front desk training needed to show more compassion - spreading lies without facts reduces trust and confidence regarding care. Is it worth the price? Some good staff; however, management is questionable. USA firm does not represent our Canadian values. Do better.
My mother resides at Sunrise of Killarney Long-Term Care Facility since its opening day. For me, there are certain people who make all the difference in the day-to-day care of my mother. One who stands out and who I would like to recognize is Kring Kring, one of the Lead Care Aides. She is not only highly skilled at her job, but she also makes a positive impact on my mother's daily life in a multitude of important ways. We put my father in the care of Sunrise after he experienced a number of falls at home. He had advanced dementia at that time and we were fortunate to find a spot in their memory care ward. The care we received at the home was exceptional. All the care workers genuinely cared for my father and our family and got my father to participate in activities. He was eating and putting on weight as well. It was definitely much better care that he was receiving at home. The facilities were also high end and modern and well maintained.... read more

Went in looking for a place for a loved one who has dementia and needs long term care. The staff was very helpful and gave helpful information
