My Husband was in the memory care wing. He was assaulted twice by the same man who was a resident here at Huntington Station. The second time this man pushed my Husband down onto the floor and his hip and Femur bones were broken. This people at Sunrise in Huntington say it is not their fault and we had to pay even though my husband was in the hospital and a Rehab centerf for over two months He also can only walk a very short distance and is confined to a wheelchair. Sunrise of Huntington has been a wonderful experience for my parents. The staff is caring and attentive. The activities are constantly offered to keep residents engaged. It is a beautiful place inside and out.

My father moved here a few months ago. He says it’s the worst.The staff doesn’t care and they have threatened him. The food sucks and they don’t put radishes in their salads because the chef doesn’t like radishes. They don’t clean his room as often as they promised too. I noticed how dirty the bathroom was when I visited. I wish I could move him but he’s 92 and it’s difficult.
