Sunrise Erin Mills memory care floor is not secure - Sunrise care team have no proper training in dementia/Alzheimers. When our 85 year old mom with dementia went missing from the memory care floor because the door was unlocked and no one was watching her, she went missing for over an hour with police having to be called at 8pm. This spring my mother joined Sunrise for respite care following surgical complications. The caregivers my mother encountered were such special people and were an important part of her recovery. The admin staff was eager to please and made every effort to leave my mother, my sisters, and I feeling glad we chose Sunrise! Thank you for all you did.
We recently toured Sunrise at Erin Mills and had an excellent experience. Kerry Ann was outstanding, taking the time to thoroughly walk us through the entire facility and explain all aspects of the residence. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and generous with her expertise, answering all of our questions and providing valuable information throughout the visit.
