The memory care floor is not truly secure - they have no proper training in dementia, when our parent with dementia went missing from the memory care floor because there was a way to unlock the door and there was no one watching - missing for an hour with police having to be called - they were then on a mission to have our parent kicked out. When moved to a better place with proper dementia care our parent does not exit seek - speaks directly to the lack of care
