NEWSFLASH: If you need to take any scumbag landlord to court over $1,500 deposit not returned, and it's in your contract that the landlord must return it, then there is this thing called "Small Claims Court" that costs around $50 to file a lawsuit and you don't need a lawyer. I used this thing called the "Internet" to look that up. I know, your minds are blown right now. Merry Christmas! Knowledge bomb officially dropped.
My husband and I lived here May-December of 2021. They were bought by a real estate company about halfway through that time and the property managers have been doing a lot to try to fix some of the previous issues. We only moved out due to our own desire for more space:)
This is no longer assisted living, it is apartments but the owner is still the worst. The owner/landlord Matt Baker is dishonest and lazy. You will never get him to do anything. He will promise you everything when you move in then do nothing he said he would do. He won't return calls or texts when there is a problem. RUN AWAY AND LIVE ELSEWHERE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.
