Officer M. Smith 128 is on a quest to give the most tickets. He would give you a ticket for driving 3-5 above the speed limit and he will rush to give you the ticket, then you will find him pulling someone not even 3 minutes after he finished with you. He is rude too, I’m not sure which kind of quota he is trying to fill in. A friend of mine told me, he tickets everyone like he is having a competition with other cops on who gives the most tickets.

Officer T. Rankin #114 pulled over my 16yr old daughter on collins rd. Asked for DL and insurance and had her called me since she was under age at first he did not want to accept my daughters DL saying that it was just a permit apparently he did not know how to read and went on and say he had to run it in the system to make sure. (This leaves me to believe that he didn't trust us maybe thinking it was fake) Accused her of following to closely, fail to signal lane change, and unsafe lane change. At all time I was respectful t... read more

I've lived in this area almost 10 years and have had two interactions with Sunnyvale PD. Each time the officer was rude, condescending and arrogant. Neither time was I issued a ticket, but I guess they still felt the need to treat me like a criminal. There are reasons why the general public distrusts/dislikes local police, and Sunnyvale PD exemplifies them to a tee. Do better with our money, Sunnyvale PD!

This police department does not pull over their own residents, instead they sit on the outskirts of US HWY 80 and pull over the residents of Forney and Terrell that are driving through here. If you are walking along the belt line rd side of Sunnyvale they will stop and harass you with multiple squad cars. If your car breaks down along side of US HWY 80 they pull up to offer “help” but treat us as a traffic stop. They peep inside your vehicle any chance they get and ask you questions they would ask a criminal. I’m leaving thi... read more
