While in HHI, I had a severe flareup of IT band syndrome. I'm three months post-knee surgery and have invested many many hours in PT. I'm far away from home, so I decided to try a massage to relax the leg. I'm so glad I went to A's! She took such excellent care of my knee and IT band. I walked out with no pain in my IT band. I chose this spa for a much-needed foot massage before Christmas — chosen based on some excellent online reviews, the ease of booking over the phone, and the excellent communication from staff regarding my appointment in the lead up to it (including good directions on how to get there). My best friend and I recently booked massages at A’s Sunny Spa, and unfortunately, my experience was far from relaxing. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay upfront before the service was completed, which immediately felt unusual. We requested the full-body relaxation massage, but the staff insisted we opt for the Swedish massage, which was $10 more. So, my best friend and I went to this spa today and it was the most bizarre experience. We are well versed concerning spas. The first weird thing was being to asked to pay before our service. When we asked about the package that we were charged for, the lady said we didn’t just want the relaxation one because it was just rubbing. She actually rubbed my arm to show how that would be.
