If you are thinking about, or considering moving a loved one to this facility!!!! PLEASE DO NOT PROCEED. At first glance, they appear to be a perfect fit. I plea with you to reconsider. They aren’t in the business for the love or care of veterans. They are in business for the money. It is no more than a housing place, with horrendous treatment of the veterans. Sunny Days was my father's care giving family for several months before his passing! The Bellot and Root family are exceptional folks! Kindness and caring are part of their DNA. Their facility's are very clean and the atmosphere is definitely warm and inviting! The entire staff is incredibly friendly, compassionate, professional and attentive to all (even visitors)! I would highly recommend Sunny Days to anyone I know that is looking for such a facility for their loved one!!
Transitioning my dad to Sunny Day Adult Care Home was an emotional time for me. Being his caregiver for 4 years had me thinking that no one could do it "my way". The owners and staff showed me that he is in good hands. Brittnii and Regina made the process easy, they ensured me that they got this and I can take my hands off. I love that it is family owned and family focus. Although my dad has only been there a month, I am pleased with his care. I can now live my life and have no worries about my dad.
The owners and staff are outstanding. The have gone above and beyond to do what they can to make my dad feel comfortable and at home. We are grateful and thankful for their care and expertise.
Fabulous, caring staff. They cook for the occupants and are very friendly.
