If you could see the dingy unprofessional way this is processed you would think twice. The facilities are not properly cleaned including mold in food processing areas, a complete lack of food safety sanitation and less than savory cleaning and sanitation practices. Work stations are " sanitized " using wipes. Non sanitized jars are packed without even being washed first, just as the packing tools are not sanitized before use. The ' answer ' is the brine keeps it food safe.
This is the best kimchi ever. I am now a worshipper of Sunja. I have collected every jar I've eaten, so i can build a staff out of them. I'd buy shares of this company. Anything to ensure that Sunja stays on the shelf forever. If you ever change or stop making this, I will literally die. But really, it's so good. Thank you!
