I first went to Sundara for acupuncture, and since then have gone back to see their Nurse Practitioner, Esthetician, and Dietician. I love how they have so many different providers in house and their approach to wellness/health. Everyone is SO nice and it’s a welcoming environment! Exactly the kind of place Memphis needs.
I came to Sundara several years ago for Pelvic PT and loved the atmosphere. Last year I tried acupuncture and was skeptical at first but Candace's calm demeanor eased me right away. I stopped for a few months due to a health crisis, but have recently gone back to resume sessions with Candace and I definitely see an improvement in my health when I'm regular with acupuncture. We came from a different state and tried to find a hyperbaric chamber. When we called, Josh picked up the phone and provided all the information we needed. We eventually signed up for a package of 5 sessions because we had such a wonderful experience. Josh is soft spoken, kind and gentle. I was amazed when I walked into the building. I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The acupuncturist repeatedly gave me the runaround about performing a diagnostic test—she kept saying she had forgotten to bring it, yet continued treating me without it. I also saw the pelvic health therapist but chose not to return after that visit. I’m now seeking a more reliable and supportive practice, especially as I’ve recently had another baby and am looking for a space that genuinely prioritizes the care of women of color.
I enjoyed trying the infrared sauna wish I had more time but had a hair appointment lol… next booking I will stay long to get more of the benefit of the sauna… Thanks to Josh for being so helpful…
