Closed my account and sent the money to ASIC. They said they couldn't contact me even though I'd been into the bank physically to update details and they were sending me statements to my current (updated) address! Took me nearly 9 months to get it back from ASIC!!! A horrible experience. Nightmare!
Though the wait time was quite long, I had a wonderful experience being offered support by Nada here at this branch. Thank you to Nada for her help in addressing my pre-travel needs, ensuring that my resources were safe while I was travelling abroad.
Been a suncorp bank customer 30 years. I rarely have any problems. The staff are great. Only problem is that the line to wait can be big. Try going middle of the day, to beat the morning rush. I like suncorp, wouldn't go anywhere else, oh and no monthly fees is Awsome. Especially in these days of economic hardship 5 stars 🌟
Had an awful experience an hour before at the buddina (kawana) store. Walked into maroochydore and was greeted by a lovely girl in the reception area who advised they would be happy to help in opening my daughters account. They discussed options and the account was opened within the hour. I also discussed smsf accounts with a large sum being moved from Macquarie account. Took15 year old to open an account. Had birth certificate, Medicare card and my ID as I've been with Suncorp for 35+ years. Told at the door of Maroochydore office (the closest since my local office in Nambour was closed) that they do not accept walk ins without an appointment except between 9.30am and 10.30am! Since when do you need to make an appointment to access basic banking services? And NOWHERE on any Suncorp website is this fact mentioned ANYWHERE. So a 40 minute drive each way and $ fuel wasted.
