Absolutely disgusting branch and customer service shocking. My father and I asked them to transfer $40k of my money I gave my parents back to me and they publicly humiliated myself and my father, implying I was committing elder abuse and making him give me money. I have lost at least four hundred thousand to what I do for my parents, but when they tried to return just a tenth of my money to me, I was publically humiliated, as if I was the abuser. The staff in store were very helpful. I have to finalize matters for my mother's estate but failed to take one number along. Don't worry, I was told I could phone it in to the staff. That is really not possible. The central phone number 131175 doesn't actually have an option that you can select - to contact a branch so you have to work something out. You then have to go through multiple call options (I picked 3 then 2 then 6) - to hopefully finally have your call picked up by a human being, But that is not all? Then I was as... read more
Needed to set up a business account Tried to call the branch to book a meeting over 3 hrs and multiple unanswered calls we decided to go in to the branch. All bankers were booked and no one could see us for over a week. Such a joke….. they have such terrible service I’m surprised they are so busy. Went to Westpac and they got us in to see someone the next day. Will now be moving my personal banking.
