I went to the Capalaba branch of the Suncorp Bank this morning and could not fault the service given to me by Tianna and Chelsea. I have bashed this bank for a long time but I was given exceptional service.
12 eMessages, 7 phone calls and a 60 minute visit still hasnt answered the question as to why they froze my Association's accounts - $20kPlus - no notice of that action and we had only 3 weeks earlier in August replied in full to KYC team to their letter requesting minor info - all done, But then they freeze and wont unfreeze until I go through ALL the processes required to open a new account. Walked in yesterday, hoping to speak to someone about an account I opened for me daughter months ago (still haven't received the card in the mail). Only to find the whole service desk closed with a screen around it, and a line of people out the door (blocking the main entrance to the Shopping mall). Not one staff member to be seen. We have had Suncorp bank accounts for over 20 years, and I am now going to the trouble of changing banks, due to the shockingly poor customer service. OMG where do I start….every dealing I’ve had with this branch has been painful and frustrating! They really need to train their front desk staff to greet people with a smile and have better communication skills. My latest (and last) interaction with them was when the deposit machine took my card over the weekend. I walked in on Monday to be greeted by a young boy who proceeded to tell me that there’s nothing they can do.
